This is a refresher course intended for anyone who studied French at secondary school level but no longer has a fluent command of the French language. Would you like the answer to questions such as "How should I use all those tenses" and "What is the right expression here"? If so, this is the right course for you! 

Within a fairly short period of time, you will refresh your knowledge of French grammar. The course's main focus is on regaining a good active command of the language, both in speaking and in writing. You will expand your vocabulary and will learn new expressions.

You will need to reserve approximately 4 hours to prepare for each lesson. The course will be rounded off with a final test. If you pass this test, you will receive a certificate, which will also allow you to progress to French Conversation.

Assessment test

To join this course, you will be required to take an oral and a written assessment test.

What is included in the course price?

The course price includes 20 teaching hours (10 two-hour lessons) and a certificate. The costs of the course books are approximately € 50 (available through UvA Talen).
