Van Dale Lexicografie: partner with UvA Talen

Van Dale Lexicografie is the leading publisher of dictionaries for the Dutch-speaking community. Het Groot Woordenboek der Nederlandse Taal, better known as the ‘big Van Dale', is part of our national heritage. Van Dale Lexicografie also publishes a large number of bilingual dictionaries that are regarded as standard works. Each new edition is brought up to date with new Dutch words and phrases and their translations. In June 2007 Van Dale Lexicografie and UvA Talen entered into a project agreement to work together in this area, since when we have been closely involved in producing new editions of a number of bilingual dictionaries, including translating vocabularies into German, French and English. At UvA Talen we are happy and proud that Van Dale has chosen us to work on these authoritative reference works - proof that our constant striving for excellence has not gone unnoticed!
