Directions
Our office is located on the corner of Sarphatistraat and Roetersstraat, next to the academic bookstore. We are within walking distance from metro and tram station "Weesperplein".
You will find UvA Talen on the first floor of the "Gijsbert van Tienhoven" building.
By public transport:
From Central Station
- Take any metro to Weesperplein station. Follow the signs to the Valckenierstraat/Roetersstraat exit.
- From Weesperplein station, walk down Valckeniersstraat. At the end of this street, you will see the Gijsbert van Tienhoven office building in front of you (across Roetersstraat).
- You will find UvA Talen on the second floor of the "Gijsbert van Tienhoven" building. Please ring the door bell for UvA Talen and follow the corridor to the very end (all doors will unlock automatically).
From Amsterdam Amstel Station
- Take any metro in the direction of Amsterdam Central Station to Weesperplein station. Follow the signs to the Valckenierstraat/Roetersstraat exit.
- From Weesperplein station, walk down Valckeniersstraat. At the end of this street, you will see the Gijsbert van Tienhoven office building in front of you (across Roetersstraat).
- You will find UvA Talen on the first floor of the "Gijsbert van Tienhoven" building.
By car:
- On the Amsterdam A10 motorway, take exit S114 (direction Centrum - Artis - Zeeburg)
- Follow the road signs to Artis until you're on Plantage Middenlaan street. Instead of turning right to Artis zoo, turn left on the Roeterstraat.
- Drive on to the end of the street. On the corner of Roetersstraat and Sarphatistraat, the Gijsbert van Tienhoven office building is located on your left.
- You will find UvA Talen on the first floor of the "Gijsbert van Tienhoven" building.
