The courses cover all the requisite skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. The emphasis, however, is on speaking Spanish, systematically building up your vocabulary and grammar in the process. While we use a textbook for the lessons, this does not mean that all the lessons are in the same format: we employ techniques such as role-playing, short presentations and audio and video recordings. You are taught by experienced, skilled teachers, who are your mainstay. Of course the success of any course depends on the effort you put into it, and you should allow for about three to five hours of private study a week. The courses conclude with a final examination: If you pass, we award you a certificate which enables you to move on to the next level.

If you already know a lot of Spanish grammar but would like to improve your speaking skills, then this is the ideal course for you. You will learn to use grammar and vocabulary correctly and in a fun way, based on speaking assignments on a variety of topical subjects. You will also learn how to give your opinion on topics in Spanish - in a word, to converse at a high level! The course takes a total of 20 hours and the course material is included in the course fee.
