About us

UvA Talen is the independent language centre of the University of Amsterdam. We are located in the heart of Amsterdam, next to Roeterseiland campus and within easy reach of the city centre. For many years, we have been offering language courses for everyone aged 18 and up with a fast learning curve —from professionals to language enthousiasts. Over time, we have grown into the largest and most influential provider of language courses and exams. Every year, thousands of students from all over the world find their way to our school to learn a new language.

Language unites us. When people speak each others language they bond. We want to be the link that makes this connection possible. We make this happen by creating a pleasant language learning experience; without stress and with a good result as reward.
