Spring has (almost) sprung, and with the sun shining comes the perfect opportunity for a fresh start. As the days grow longer and the tulips bloom across the Netherlands, now is the perfect time to challenge yourself with a new language or brush up on one you already know. Whether you’re looking to enhance your CV, connect with new cultures, or just simply looking to fit in with your Dutch neighbours, our April course round is just around the corner!
April marks one of our four major course starts at UvA Talen. This means all 13 of our languages are available, covering levels from absolute beginners to advanced. With flexible scheduling options, to include; intensive daytime courses and evening course options- you can find the perfect fit for your lifestyle & agenda.
Intensive courses: Fast track your progress
For those who want rapid improvement, our Dutch and English intensive courses are available all year-round, but our April course round is particularly popular before everyone leaves for their summer vacation!
These structured programs include three to five lessons per week, designed to improve your proficiency up to two levels on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Choose between online learning via Zoom or in-class lessons at our Amsterdam location.
Evening & Weekend Courses: For those with a busy work schedule
If your schedule is packed, our evening and weekend courses provide a flexible alternative. Evening courses run once or twice per week over a period of ten weeks, allowing you to steadily build your language skills without disrupting your daily or weekly routine. These courses are offered in Dutch, English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Portuguese, Swedish, Arabic, Russian, Chinese, Japanese and Korean!
Prefer a weekend option? Our Saturday courses offer a relaxed yet structured approach to learning, with online classes in all 13 languages, and in-person Dutch and English courses. With time between lessons to practice and absorb new material, you'll see steady progress while gaining confidence in your new language skills.
