Update 16 March 2020 – latest update on coronavirus measures
PLEASE NOTE: This update is an addition to our earlier memos, the contents of which remain in place.
National measures of closing down all educational activities and strongly discourage all gathering of people have been extended to 6 April. This means that our physical closure will last through to that date.
During this period, we will remain at your services through the Internet. Classes will continue online, emails will be answered as swiftly as possible. However, our offices will not be reachable by phone. Should you want to contact us, please send us an email, and we will get back to you.
All students who enrolled for our courses starting in April will be contacted by us. Although we hope to be able to return to classroom tuition by that time, we are currently preparing for online sessions throughout the spring. All students will receive our offer regarding the possibilities shortly.
We remain truly sorry for any inconvenience, and truly regret the current circumstances. We must all, however, do whatever is necessary to deal with the situation to the best of our abilities. UvA Talen strictly follows the measures taken by the legal and medical authorities. We urge you all to do the same – and keep calm in the process.
Be safe. Andrà tutto bene.
